CharadeFam support

CharadeFam is a pass-the-device acting game for families, made by Gravitaz LLC. It’s free and has no ads. It’s on iPhone and iPad, and an Android version is on the way.

There are four decks: Little Ones (pictures, for kids who can’t read yet), Easy, Medium and Hard. The game works offline, and new topics arrive automatically.

How to play

  1. Add players, or use quick play with no scores.
  2. Pick a deck, a timer, and a “Play to” score (or No limit, just for fun).
  3. Pass the device to the actor, who holds the button to see the word.
  4. Tap the card to flip it face down, set the device down, and act it out silently. Tap the card again to see the word.
  5. Tap “Got it!” if someone guesses it, or “Missed it” if not.

Artists: help draw the Little Ones deck

The Little Ones pictures in CharadeFam were made with AI. We’d much rather use real art from a real artist, and we offer a spotlight in return: a credit in the app, with links to your gallery or collection so players can explore more of your work.

This is a volunteer spotlight, not a paid commission.

What we’re looking for

  • When a picture shows people, it shows a mix of genders, skin tones and backgrounds.
  • Easy to read at a glance for kids who can’t read yet: one clear action or thing per picture, bold friendly shapes, and nothing that needs words to explain it.
  • No text, logos or watermarks on final art. Samples may carry a watermark.
  • Your own original work. You keep ownership and can show it anywhere; CharadeFam may use it in the app and its App Store listing, always with credit to you.

Sending a sample

  • 2–3 pictures of Little Ones topics, for example Crab, Brushing teeth, Jumping rope, Rocket or Happy.
  • PNG with a transparent background, or a plain flat one.
  • Square, at least 2048 × 2048 pixels, in sRGB color.
  • One centered subject filling about 80% of the square, with nothing important touching the edges.
  • The same style across all your pictures.
  • Email hello@gravitaz.net with a link to a shared folder (Google Drive, Dropbox or iCloud) and a link to your portfolio.
