Hustlin’ privacy policy

Hustlin’ is a free app for logging workouts, keeping a streak and running challenges with friends, made by Gravitaz LLC. It runs on iPhone, on Android and on the web at app.hustlinapp.com. This page explains what it does with your information.

Effective October 25, 2026

The short version

Hustlin’ needs an account so your hustles, streak and challenges follow you between devices. It has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and doesn’t use the advertising identifier. Health data is used only to log your workouts, and it is never sold or used for advertising.

Your account

  • your email address
  • your password, which our sign-in provider stores only as a hash, or your Sign in with Apple identifier
  • your display name and @username
  • your settings: theme, appearance, miles or kilometers, and your monthly goal

Your hustles

Each workout you log or sync is saved to your account: the activity, the distance or count, when it started, how long it took, the calendar day, an optional name and notes, and where it came from (logged by hand, Apple Health or Health Connect).

Apple Health and Health Connect

Health sync is optional and off until you turn it on. When it’s on, Hustlin’ reads only:

  • on iPhone, workouts, step count and walking and running distance from Apple Health
  • on Android, exercise sessions and their distance, step count and walking and running distance from Health Connect

For each workout it reads the type, the start and end time, the distance, and the name of the app that recorded it, and turns it into a hustle. Outside recorded workouts, it also reads your step count and walking and running distance across the day and saves one “Daily walking” entry per day: that day’s step total and distance. Like your other hustles, it is linked to your account, and friends and challenge members can see it the same way they see your distance totals. Nothing else is read, and Hustlin’ never writes to Apple Health or Health Connect. Health data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone except as described on this page to run the app.

You can turn sync off at any time in Hustlin’ (Me, then Apple Health or Health Connect, then Disconnect), or remove Hustlin’s access in the Health app or in Health Connect. Hustles that were already synced stay in your account until you delete them or the account.

The web app can’t read health data. Hustles there are logged by hand.

Friends and challenges

Hustlin’ stores your friends and friend requests, the challenges you create or join, and challenge invites. Here’s who can see what:

  • Friends see your display name, @username, streak, monthly total and your most recent hustle.
  • Members of a challenge you join see your name, your total and progress in that challenge, and when your hustles last synced.
  • Anyone you send a join link to sees the challenge’s name, dates, goal and how many people are in it.
  • Other people can find you by @username or display name when they search for friends.

Gravitaz runs some public challenges and can see totals across them, such as the combined distance of everyone in a challenge.

Where it’s stored

Your account and everything above are stored by Supabase, which hosts our database and sign-in on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Sign-in and confirmation emails are sent through Supabase. The web app and hustlinapp.com are hosted by Vercel. Like any web request, these providers receive your device’s IP address as part of normal network traffic. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Deleting your data

Delete your account in the app (Me, then Delete account). That deletes your profile, your hustles (including synced ones), your friendships, challenge memberships and invites, and any challenges you created, for everyone in them. Your data is kept until then.

If you can’t get into the app, email hello@gravitaz.net from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you.

Children

Hustlin’ isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email hello@gravitaz.net and we’ll delete it.

Changes

We’ll update this page and its date if the app’s data practices change, and tell you in the app about any material change.
